MARCH FOR CHANGE Calling all GASP! members: Please join us TOMORROW Sunday, October 26 at 1:00 pm for this important show of solidarity MARCH FOR CHANGE. Meet at 600 St Mary’s St at 12:30 and we will head to MLK Gardens on Martin Luther King Blvd in Raleigh en masse… Thousands of new voters throughout Wake County are Fired Up and Ready to Go! To showcase our efforts we will march together with our friends, family, and neighbors to join with local leaders, volunteers, churches, colleges, and other supporters from throughout the State. A very special guest speaker will be announced soon. We will march for less than one mile from the Martin Luther King Memorial Gardens to an Early Voting Rally at the Chavis Heights Community Center. Come and Meet the Candidates and vote at the Early Voting Site, Laurel Hills Community Center, 3803 Edwards Mill Road in Raleigh. Join us on Sunday, Oct. 26 from 1 p.m.-2 p.m. on Softball Field #1 behind the Center. Confirmed candidates: Kristin Ruth (Court of Appeals), Josh Stein (NC State Senate, District 16), and Jennifer Weiss (NC State House, District 35). Help us spread the word! It would be amazing as a group activity at the LAST GASP meeting on the 29th. I’ll bet STELLA could lead it. We could do some amazing harmonies.
